Meet the Writer/Illustrator
Ever since she was a young child, Cara has loved creating stories through words and illustrations. She enjoys writing fantasy stories with influences from fairytales and mythology.
She is an educator who enjoys teaching reading, writing, and art to her students.
She graduated from Assumption University with a BA in Studio Art. She received a Masters in Elementary Education and a CAGS in Education specializing in Moderate Disabilities from Anna Maria College. She is also a graduate of Simmons University with an MFA in Children's Literature: Writing for Children.
When she is not writing, she is reading, painting, creating illustrations for her stories, doing photography, and spending time outside.
